My planned cesarean package includes everything in my labor package, with the following adjustments:
The continuous birth support provided is from check-in for your cesarean through transfer to the mother-baby unit. I'll be on hand for all the cesarean prep, and be able to answer any questions that you or your partner may have, as well as provide emotional support. I'll stay on hand with your partner until it is time for them to join you in the OR.
If allowed by hospital policy and the attending doctors, I'll join you in the OR for the birth for support and photography. If not allowed, I will transfer your belongings to your recovery room and wait there for you. If for any reason your partner and baby are unable to remain in the OR with you, I will meet them in the nursery or recovery to assist with skin-to-skin care.
I remain on hand to assist with breastfeeding, take photos, answer questions, and advocate for your comfort and pain control, until you are settled into your room in mother-baby and are ready for me to leave.

postpartum doula support

Postpartum support looks like whatever you need it to look like!
Postpartum doulas can do everything from housekeeping tasks, like dishes, vacuuming, and laundry, to meal prep or being a trusted set of hands to care for your baby while you take a shower or a nap.
I have set up nurseries, sterilized bottles, bounced crying babies, and been a shoulder to cry on for new moms navigating surging hormones and emotions.
Having a postpartum doula on hand will give you not only help, but rest and peace of mind.

Testimonials
“If you are looking for a doula, look no further. Choosing Christine was one of the best decisions I made as a first time mom.
She offers a live course to prep you for what to expect in labor and what decisions you need to make to establish a birth plan. I am so thankful Christine was with me for the birth of my child. Her presence is so calming and encouraging. She knows exactly how to support you and help you cope with labor. Whether you are planning a hospital birth, home birth, or birth center experience, Christine is someone you want in your corner and you won’t regret adding her to your birth team.” -Jacque W.
“Absolutely recommend. We are a military family and not having our families support here was terrifying. Christine was our support through our birthing process and it was hands down the best experience ever.
Without her knowledge, kindness and never-ending compassion I doubt I would've made it through to the other side of birthing our son. Being able to have an advocate for my wants in the hospital and for afterbirth care was such a relief to me and my family. She is a part of our family now and we absolutely love her and everything she did for us. —Angelena V.
“Simply saying Christine is “amazing” is not adequate enough praise for the support she provides and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Her commitment to my partner and I throughout the entire labor process is something I will be eternally grateful for. My labor was over 40 hours long with a lot of twists and turns. Christine stayed with us through the whole experience and made us feel safe, supported, and well advocated for the entire time. We originally thought we’d just have a doula for the first baby, but if we have any others we will definitely be hiring Christine again.” —Luisa B.
